Shoud HP launch the TouchPad/Pre 3 together ?

WorldWide Tech & Science. Francisco De Jesús.

A Tablet  and a smartphone, everyone might say different worlds different markets.

For a tablet HP might not need phone  carriers operators as with an smartphone.

The Touch to Share feature that allows to share a web site between the HP Pre3 and the TouchPad is making a differentiation in front to the competition. At this time no tablet and smartphone manufacturer around the world have that technology.

HP has promoted  in several videos on youtube Touch to Share showing  both devices working together:

3 days ago arstechnica  started a poll with these questions:, that at this time the results are:

Although the sample size is not showed but in percentage, the results are not so encouraging to buy immediately the TouchPad by the consumer, until they read a review first , after the TouchPad is  launched.

“If you promote a package of two devices working together with awesomeness , give them to the market, right the way”

The  technology gadget consumer likes to show up the neighbors what  they don´t have, despite a device is focused for business and enterprise as well.

The neighbors might have  just a tablet, but it doesn´t work together with an smartphone as HP´s do.

HP should find the way to fix the  launch of the Better together working devices , offering them as a bundle, this July 1st .  At this point the demand of both the TouchPad and the Pre 3 is splitted.
